Development of a scalable DC charging plaza for an all-electric delivery fleet, suitable for charging between multiple shifts without disrupting operations.

From its Etten-Leur location, HelloFresh serves a large service area with an all-electric fleet of Mercedes-Benz Vito’s. This places high demands on the charging infrastructure: dozens of vehicles must be able to charge simultaneously, not only at night, but also between the first and second shifts.

On behalf of PowerGo, charging infrastructure operator, NL Mobility developed a standardized DC charging plaza for HelloFresh. The charging bay is equipped with multiple Ecotap DC chargers with charging capacities ranging from 30 to 180 kW, tailored to the operational charging needs per vehicle and time of day.

This modular and scalable design allows for flexible deployment of the fleet while ensuring continuity of logistics operations.
